Our Kenmore 600 dryer was running fine but producing no heat. After reading many previous posts here, I replaced the heater thermostat but when I switched the drier back on it blew the thermal cut-off switch. The heating coil shows the right resistance and there is no indication of a short circuit on it, or anywhere else, as far as I can tell. I saw an identical problem described back in January (Shawn Muller) but the thread ended without any resolution. Anyone got any ideas?
