My electric Kenmore dryer runs fine, but it will not heat.
Based on other posts in this forum I checked the airflow, which is good, and reset the circuit breaker several times. I also checked all the wiring for loose connections. Finally, I bypassed the 325F thermal fuse on the heater in case that had blown, but the heater element will still not heat.
What are my next steps? I guess I need to run and get a voltage meter to check continuity of the heating coil, but I am not entirely sure how to test it. If the problem is a bad heating coil, is this a part that I will be able to find?

Update: I checked the continuity of the thermal fuse with a multi-tester to be sure, and it’s fine. The heating element failed the continuity test, so that appears to be the problem. I can’t seem to find a replacement heating element for this dryer anywhere, however. Any ideas?

Here is your heating element

Your model number should have a 110 in front of it (indicates Whirlpool made the Dryer, check and make sure thisis the case). Use the model number you gave plus the 110 and you can find all your parts.
Good luck and let us know how it works out.
