I checkedall the visible connections and all seem good.

I ran theDiagnostic Test: It posted “F-28”, when I tried to forward to the next failurecode, the Door Locked and the Cycle light came on the “Rinse/Drain & Spin”cycle. I then tried starting the test and bypassing the service history mode,But I could not get it to work.

I ran the testwithout the panels installed. Do the safety switches need to be connected torun the test?

I’m not surewhat the Diagnostic Test looks like, is there information on that available?

Does thisgive you enough information on determining a proper replacement part to fix it?

Please letme know if there is additional trouble shooting I can do?

The diagnostic instructions provided by Whirlpool are not very clear. Per the information you posted the problem, most likely, is a bad CCU, but there is a small chance for the motor control board to be bad as well.

The only good thing about it is that if you will order parts from APP then you can return unneeded parts later.
