 Our refrigerator/freezer does not cool enough to actually freeze food or keep refrigerated foods cold. The freezer gets to about 32 degrees, and refrigerator gets in the 40-50 degree range. Both the. evaporator and condenser fans run. I checked the freezer and there was some frost at the bottom vents, which I used a hair dryer to melt yesterday. Right now there doesn’t seem to be much air circulation in the refrigerator compartment.
Not sure what the problem is, or where and how I should track it down. I just checked the freezer and it is icing up again, so something is wrong in defrosting system. Could this be causing the problem in refrigerator as well as freezer?
