Kenmore soap dispenser not opening

I have a kenmore dishwasher and love it but the soap dispenser door has not been opening. I removed the front door panel and removed the solenoid. I bench tested it with 120v because that is the voltage stamped on the outside of it. And it worked. The door latch release on the inside releases the door very easily. Any ideas for me?

My Kenmore dishwasher 665.13213k900 dispenser door does not open. I replaced the dispenser (solenoid ohmed open circuit) and the main electronic board (burned spot at the triac). The dispenser door opened a time or two, but now it stopped opening again. After completing over $200 in parts replacement, what do I do now? Buy an LG?
