I have a Kenmore stack washer/dryer and tonight I noticed that the washer would was running (it was starting the rinse cycle) and then it stopped working. The lights in the house flickered. Then about 10 minutes later I heard the washer start draining again then it stopped again (lights flickered again).
I turned the dial all around to try to get it to spin or fill up with water but nothing happened. I left it on the fill (beginning cycle) and about 10 minutes later I heard the washer fill with water again.
I don’t think it was the motor because when the washer wasn’t working it wouldn’t even fill with water when I turned the dial. Why the washer wasn’t working I tried the dryer and the dryer was working.
I don’t think it’s the timer, but what do I know, I’m looking for professional help 
Any ideas?
