Kenmore Washer 80Series

Washer does not spin. I heard a loud sound and found out it was my washer. I do hear clicking from the lid. What else could it be? Am I able to replace the part myself?
Thanks Julie

As far as I Know, it fills up with water, I don’t know if it agitates but I do hear the motor run when I try the spin cycle. I would assume we can rule out the lid switch? because I do hear a click when I open/close lid. I am pretty handy and do a lot of my own repairs, but I never tackled a washer and dryer. Thank you.

If you can determine if it agitates and drains we can give you some suggestions.

Right on Gabe!
The problem was a worn rubber that broke all three tabs. I found out that the reason these break is washing heavy duty rugs, blankets… but in my case a very old machine (since 1991) but still working like new. Took 30 minutes to repair. Thanks again for your help. Julie
