The display on my electric range fades out but will light up again when i hit it. any suggestions

You can by a boxing glove or replace the control board.

could it also be the power board. the stove and burners still work but there is no digital display

Hi.

Replace the display board. The relay board doesn’t control the display functions.

PS. if you are worried about getting the wrong part and get stuck with it - don’t. The APP will take back any unused parts even if they been installed.
