Okay so I have a good one for you. I have a Kitchen Aid built-in fridge that stopped getting cold back at Thanksgiving. I had a repair man come take a look and he believed that I had a freon leak. Well while he was checking the inverter board fried (honestly think it was his fault). So we replaced the inverter board and found that now the compressor would not come on. After a few checks we find that continuity on the compressor was not between 6 & 7 (variable speed compressor). The reads were 2.5, 2.5, 4.5.
I ordered a compressor and had it installed. After turning on the power and waiting 7mins the new compressor is not kicking on. We check continuity on the new compressor and it checks out okay at 6.5ohms.
We do some more checking and find that there is an issue with the main control board. I send the MC board out for repair. It came back today, I have it installed and to my surprise, the compressor is still not turning on. I now have no clue what the problem is, nor does my repair man. Can anyone help?
