Fridge set for 35 degrees. Running 44 degrees. Freezer runs fines. (Set at -5, external thermometer reads -5; if set at 0, reads 0). Put in diagnostics mode and ran the diagnostics, got good readings on all items. Had repairmen out twice now, but I’ve ordered/replaced the parts they said needed replacing.
Have now replaced the main control board, the inverter, the air baffle (diffuser from freezer to fridge) and refrigerator thermister. Compressor seems to come on fine (although resistance wasn’t tested). Condenser fan works too. No dust on condenser.
Evaporator fan seems to work as air is blowing into freezer. No air blockage between freezer/fridge. Evaporator looked at from freezer compartment doesn’t look like it is iced up, but I haven’t opened up the access panel to check entire evaporator. Put in diagnostics mode and ran the diagnostics, got good readings on all items, including evaporator fan.
I am at my wits end trying to resolve. What else can you suggest? Should I just replace the evaporator fan? Could the touch control assembly at top of fridge be at fault?
Is it okay to swap parts back out and return new ones to get a refund? This is getting expensive.
Thanks for your help.
