Kitchenaid gas oven problem

I have looked through the older posts and found several post that were close but not spot on to my peoblem. I have a Kitchenaid gas range model number KGRA806PSS02. I have had no issuse with the oven until tonight when I tried to preheat I noticed that it was taking a very long time to heat. Further investigation revealed that the gas was not igniting and only the upper electric heating element was on. I smelled no gas. I repeated the process several times with no success. Same result with the broiler. No gas smell no igniter sound only electric heat. The gas cook top is working fine. Where do I start?
