Ice Maker does not work. our water dispenser does. The last time a tech came out, he "cleared ice from inlet tube" (used a hair dryer). I’ve been reading that it could be a bad water valve (part number 2188746). How do I determine if that is the problem? People were talking about an IM (?) and perhaps the motor. If it is the problem, how easy is it to replace?
I just replace the valve (today) on ours with the same problem. ice water works ice maker worked on and off and then quit altogether. waiting to see if my fix will work.
