I recently acquired a slightly used wall oven that I installed and it appeared to be working fine. We then had a severe electrical storm while we were away from home and when we returned, we found that the display on the oven - giving the temperature etc. was pretty well nonfunctional. The oven seems to work fine - I can input the temperature and it heats with no problem. I pulled the display panel away from the oven and looked at the circuit board and a couple of the resistors look like they are starting to cook the board so I assume that something else on the board may have gotten cooked. Wondering what a replacement board will run and if I need to check anything else (e.g. voltages etc.) before I invest in a replacement.
Many thanks

Here are your parts

I think your unit is a KEBi171DBL7 and not a KEB1.
Since everything seems to work OK other than the display, I would say that the control bard (Item 3 in Section 1) needs replacing.
Have you tried removing power from the unit for a couple minutes just to see if it will reset?
