KitchenAid Oven Thermal Fuse Wires Shorted

I had a problem with my KitchenAid convection oven where it blew a thermal fuse while running self cleaning mode. This was simple enough and I confirmed fixed the issue with the replacement part below.

Here is my problem. I got over zealous and cleaned out the dust, etc. from the back panel and forgot to reconnect the wires to the thermal fuse. After putting everything back together and turning on power, I heard a pop and shut down the breaker. One of the loose wires contacted the back of the oven and nearly melted at the contact point.

Fixing the wire and going back to recheck, now the panel does not light up and I’m afraid I fried something badly. Any ideas on what I could have fried? is the mother board toast? I’m not sure where to start.

I took the top and front panel off and smelled burnt plastic but didn’t see any visible fried parts. Also, the stove top still works.
