Hey all,
I am yet another sucker with a KitchenAid oven that self destructs if you run the cleaning cycle. I would like to try to relace the thermal fuse but I am good with computers and terrible with appliances. Can anyone point me to a forum post, picture, etc that would explain how to get to the fuse and replace it? I am assuming I have to pull the oven out of the wall to get to it.

Looks like your Model Number is missing the last digit.
I can also find the tech sheets for this unit but need tha last digit to get you the right one.
Hey guys, I had the wrong model number, (I had one of these in another house so I must have gotten them mixed up). My model number is KEBI276DBL2. It looks like the part isAP3777386 for that part but does anyone have the repair PDF for that model so I can find it?
Hmmm… If anyone knows how to get the door to unlock so I can remove the control pannel that would be cool too.
Okay. Figured out the locking problem. Coat hanger in the middle of the top door push it a little to the left and it opens.
Alrighty then. Got the control pannel open based on the instructions in the PDF. Found the offending fuse (broke the wire it plugs into on the control panel in the process). That sucker is not designed to come out easy is it? What is up with crimping it in? In any case I bypassed it to make sure the control pannel works and everything started up fine. I’ll get my part ordered right now! Whoo!
