I think this is the first time the oven has been self cleaned despite the age.
I have established that one of the thermal fuses needs replacement …when I open the Right hand side fuse The fan comes on but nothing happens to the blank control panel. A multi meter check on the left hand side thermal fuse (which looks identical to the other except it has a red dot) indicates that it is ok.Does anyone know what I should look at next?
