KitchenAid toploader washer will not spin water. I can hear motor running, but nothing moving. Drains fine.
I had the same problem, motor running but washer wouldn’t spin. I Replaced the coupler, but still the same problem. It goes through the spin cycle but will only spin if there is no clothes in the washer or if I lift the lid in the cycle and rotate the agitator a bit and close the lid. Then it spins and completes the cycle. It does this on every setting of the control panel. Is there a "heavy load" sensor or something that keeps it from spinning when there are wet clothes/weight in the tub.
