I had to take apart my washer after I lost the spin cycle. This website has been immensely helpful! Since I put it back together the tub leans toward the motor and bangs during spin cycle. I had spring bracket AP2905281 in back which is wrong, the diagram shows it should be on the left side. The diagram shows spring bracket AP2915495 in back and one on the right side. It also shows the counter balance spring AP4459650 attaches to this bracket in back, it does not. I drilled a hole in the bracket to attach the counter balance spring, because I don’t remember how it attach before, and the tub still leans toward the motor. I’m stumped. Should I replace all 4 springs?
I had posted this in the wrong spot on the website and it was suggested I might also consider replacing the pads. I was already stumped before, I never even thought that pads would have an impact. When I put it back together I’m sure the skate plate went in a different way.

Look at this diagram.
Machine base replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL LSQ9549LW0 WASHER - DIRECT DRIVE | AppliancePartsPros.com
Part no. 5 is the correct bracket to go in the back. The other two go on the left and right. Part no. 5 Ap2905281 already has a hole in it for the spring. That spring is part no. 15. It goes from the bracket no. 5 down to the washer frame where there is a hole in the back rail of the frame. It basically counterbalances the weight of the motor/pump assembly.
There are three brown suspension pads part no. 18 in the base frame. The skate plate sits on top of them, with its three white suspension pads facing up. Then the tub support part no. 4 sits on top of them.
When assembled correctly the tub should level its self and when pulled left, right, back, and forth it should easily glide those directions, then return to center.
One other thing, the drawing is wrong. It shows the bracket up front and the spring on the left back bracket. Its like they turned it 120 degrees, then forgot they did and put the spring where it would be if they hadn’t moved the bracket.
So go by what I told you, not by the way the diagram shows. If you need a pic I can probably provide you with one.
