LG Re-Assembly: Extra Rubber Pieces?

I have replaced bearings and spider on my LG washer. After removing the outer tub during disassembly, I found three (3) curved rubber strips that had fallen off from somewhere. They are NOT on the repair diagrams and I’m now re-assembling. Any ideas of where they might go?

Dimensions: 3" long x 1/2" wide x 3/16" thick
Slightly curved and lubricated with a clear grease

Moving one of the shock absorbers out of the way, I pulled the sleeve too far out and two more of these rubber things fell out. Mystery solved. There are two of these in each of the 3 shock absorbers. See picture.
