Load balancer for MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER

I have a MAYTAG Washer that gets off balance when I wash a small load of cloths. Can some advise me on what I can do to fix the problem or is there a load balancer that will keep the small load equally distributed during the wash?

You need to check the struts and make sure they are not broke or wore. This will cause the unit to get off balance. Or it could be your clutch. Here is the part number for the sturts, as well as a link to the parts diagram. Hope this helps. [part]AP4008700[/part]

Yep sounds like a Clutch issue. You might get away with some Clutch maintenance.

I like to pop the hood and troubleshoot before I buy any parts.

If you need the FAV6800A/FAV9800A Service Manual just Google “”16022808 Revision 0 December 2003””

You will find it in multiple locations. You will need it to DIY the repair. Shout out if you need any help.
