So my Fridge door on my side by side is loose. Think my kid was hanging on it. I can’t see how to get into the door to tighten it. Any thoughts? I looked at the parts schematic, but I can’t figure out how to get under the door seal, and the interior compartments to get access to the bolt that would hold the door handle on… Kinda stumped, so I thought I would come back to this great forum. This forum has saved me from calling a repairman for the circuit board, and ice maker so far. Very happy I found this site!
You should not have to remove the liner.
Take a look at section 9 in the parts.
The clip (Item 5) is held onto the door by the screw (Item 9).
The screw (Item 13) is screwed into the handle.
This then clips into the clip to hold the handle onto the door.
Carefully so you do not scratch the door lift up on the handle. This should disengage the handle from the door.
You can then tighten whichever screw is loose.
