Have a dishwasher aprox. 3yrs old that rather quickly became quite loud. Low pitch loud whining sound. This occurs during wash and rinse only. Through some inspection of the inside and underside there does not appear to be anything loose or rattling. Seems to work fine other than the noise which again is quite load and very annoying. I’d have to guess motor issue? How can I be sure? Can anyone help??

Likely same problem as I believe I have. It may have ingested something it could not digest. Perhaps interfering with impeller on pump or caused a "ding" or damage to impeller that could be quieted by simply taking a file to clear the misformation. I am looking for access to pump/impeller information and this is the first that caught my eye.
