Maytag Atlantis slow leak into tub

I have a slow leak into the tub of the washer. I assume it is the water valve. Does that make sense?

When I look for the part it shows "Prior to Ser Pre 18" or "Ser Pre 18 and later" How do I know which model I have? Serial # is 20897132ZD.

Thanks!

Yes, a faulty water valve would cause that to happen.
You have Ser Pre 18 and later, it’s going by the first two digits of your serial number.

I have an Atlantis model MAVT634AWW with s/n 24538149EN that has a slow dribble of water into the tub all the time on the cold side of the supply . If I switch the hoses and use the hot side only it does not dribble water. I am testing this machine in the garage where I only have a cold water supply but I dont think that would make any difference.
The parts listing shows two different water valves with one being I presume a std type and the other on being listed as a 60/40 type. If I replace the valve to stop the dribble into the tub which I presume is the problem which one should I order ?
