The Maytag Atlantis washer won’t agitate, but it spins and drains water. The agitator is fine, however. It makes a loud noise on agitate (almost like grinding). When I removed the agitator it seemed like the transmission was moving, but I’m not sure if it was moving optimally (I’m not sure what optimally would look like). Could it be a bearing? Could it be something else? If you have suggestions as to what it might be, please let me know. Thx in advance.
