The washer will not agitate anymore, it spins fine, when it is suppose to agitate it vibrates the tub and makes a growling noise, I’m hopeing its an easy fix I can do myself.

I am afraid your symptoms speak of a failed transmission, but open it up and see if the motor is able to pivot, which is how it starts up. Given that it spins I doubt if that is your problem, but check it out anyway.
