Attempting to diagnose why washer stops when entering spin cycle leaving tub full of soapy water. Timer buzzes and vibrates with indicator stopping at spin cycle. There is some burning odor and power shuts off for a while, which I assume is motor overheating prevention function. After inspection, and removing belt and turning pulleys, everything appears ok except possibly motor; it turns with some amount of effort required, but does not turn nearly as "freely" as drive pulley and pump. Does this significant amount of effort needed to turn motor pulley indicate motor is bad? Not sure how old washer is; it came with condo: Washer Serial Number is: 20144048ZB.
Thanks!
