I have a Maytag Bravos MVWX600XW0 with Commercial Technology. Pfft, I’ve had this lemon less than 2 years. So far, I’ve replaced the lid lock which was bad. And now, the gear case which obviously the bearing failing in, but I can’t get just the bearing. Now that I’ve replaced the gear case…and splutch, and belt, I still get a F7E1 error and the damn thing won’t wash clothes. Two years, $300 on top of the purchase…yeah, over it. Any help getting this lemon to run would be greatly appreciated.
Before anyone asks. After I changed the gear case, splutch, and belt, I checked rechecked all connections. I ran the calibration cycle from the diagnostics menu. I then ran a self test and got a F0E0. I then put a load in, and it stopped at the spin cycle. I can run the spin cycle in manual mode, but the washer stops there during the normal cycle. For fun I put the old (and worked just fine) splutch and belt back on. Same deal. SOOOOOOOOO, I’m open to suggestions. I have the technician manual for the washer and will likely head in with a volt meter and ohm meter tomorrow, in the meantime, if anyone has any experienced input, I’d love to hear it.
