My Maytag Gemini Model MER6770AAQ double oven and range has a problem with the upper bake element not heating up. There are no error codes, and the ohms seem correct (30.8) so I don’t believe the element is bad. (I checked the ohms with the wires disconnected.) The broil element works, and the oven will heat up by using the broil element, and will shut off upon reaching temperature. But, of course, using this element as a substitute for the bake element will result in burned baked goods! Any suggestions?
