Maytag LA105 washer won't fill for rinse cycle and leaks

Trying to limp the old washer along for another few year. Washer is a Maytag LA105 and has been around for a while. Everything works fine until the rinse cycle where it won’t fill. It tries to but the water comes out very weak. The washer sits in a catch basin and it will begin to slowly fill with water during this time as well. It is more like a slow drip for that though. Eventually, If there is to much water in there then the washer won’t spin out and I have to drain it by hand which sucks. Will gladly purchase part through here for a little advice.

I havnen’t cheked to see if it is draining when trying to fill for rinse but will check it. Wife gets around this problem by turning the washer control back to the wash fill cycle to fill it up again. Once filled, she will advance the timer back to the rinse cylce so that it can do its thing.

Bump…here is a little more info. There is no water draining during the rinse cycle, water will slowly fill tub until about half full. At this point it stops filling and it begins dripping from inside the washer down to the floor at a very slow rate. Standing by…
