Dryer heating element stays on glowing, on all heat levels including air dry.
As I understand it the element should cycle on and off maintaining a +/- 20 degree
while running and not come on at all during air dry mode.
I recently changed out the thermal fuse which would not allow my dryer to turn on.
I also replaced the thermostat on the blower housing beside it.
I have also ensured the venting was not clogged or restricted, (good to go).
I am trying to get to the root cause of the thermal fuse blowing which leads me to watch the heating element while the lower cover was removed, coils glow while the dryer is on at all time. These coils do not cycle off and on as I would assume they should.
Drum appears very hot and possibly cloth over heated once the cycle does shut off for dried clothing.
