This time the motor stalls (hums only) after it fills with water. Looks like I can get it going again with a kick and and a wiggle to the motor. I took the motor switch apart and it looks like the contacts on the start circuit are prettly badly pitted and worn. I don’t see on the website where I can buy just the switch. Is it available??? Could it be somthing else.
I have the second transmission in this machine and every now and then it really howels.
This might be it for me. I’ll buy a new machine before I buy a motor.
I think you plan to buy a new machine is the best bet, as I do not think the switch is a separate repair part and given your troubles in the past a new machine seems the way to go.
Was using oven when it just went blank…checked outlet,ok…in a min or so, the panel lit back up, said enter T of D,which I did and started it again…went blank again…did this several times…I cleaned everything on it…pulled top louver panel, main control panel, checked fuse, ok…still blank…hit the top panel once…lights came on panel…tried it again…went blank again for good…have tried everything I know…what could cause this ?? main processor board ? or what ? any ideas …I called a local service and they told me to buy a new one…not worth it to repair…it has worked great since I bought it about 4 yrs ago…would like to keep it if I can repair it…
