Maytag range lower oven not heating

The bottom heating element in the lower oven of my Maytag MER6875BCS range sparked and melted and after I replaced it the lower oven heats up very slowly and only tops out at about 200. I tested continuity on the new element and then on the thermostat and the temp probe. Everything seems fine. Is it the board? And how do I find one? It looks different than than say the MER6555 which is supposed to be a similar model.

Thanks in advance.

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the tech sheet.
I could not find one for a BCS unit but it is for all units up to a BAW unit so odds are yours is the same.

Yes it could be the board.
Looks like it may be obsolete.
It would be best to call AppliancePartsPros just to confirm this.
There are companies out there that repair obsolete control boards, just Google appliance timer repair

Does the broiler (upper element) work.
If not then a high limit switch may be open.

The broiler does work, I tested what I believe to be the high limit switch, it looks like the link below:

It seemed to be fine, I even switched it with the one for the upper oven which I know works and the upper oven still works.

I am wondering by what the tech sheet indicated if I tested the temp probe properly, perhaps I may switch those and see if anything happens. Anyhow I will run the diagnostic and let you know what happens.

Thanks for the tech sheet!

If the oven never comes ready (stays in preheat) then the oven sensor should be OK.
