Well, it started out that the washer would not drain or spin. So I checked the lid switch and found the check switch was bad so replaced it. Checked the machine for operation before reassembly and everything worked fine although the fuse blew on the first attempt. Changed fuse and again, everything fine and operational. Reassembled the unit fully and now it won’t wash or fill. It does drain and spin though. So thinking I did something wrong with the lid switch assembly I pulled it all apart again and it is all fine and checks for continuity with the meter. So at this point I am assuming the water level switch may be bad but do not want to sink a lot of money into an aging machine without knowing for sure. Is there some way of testing the water level switch or a diagram so I can see what readings are normal while testing? Also is there another fuse somewhere besides the one in the front left cabinet that I am overlooking. Been looking over diagrams around the timer thinking that may have blown with how it’s acting but unable to locate one.
Went back and rechecked the fuse and lid switch to ensure accuracy in my description. Both are fine and operational.
