Hello.
I guessed at the age, I’m not the original owner. It had been working mostly fine, spin cycle didn’t get the clothes too dry. The last time I used it, it blew the circuit breaker when trying to agitate. I got it to drain the tub the spin the clothes. I just got finished reading an old thread here about spinning the pulley on the bottom in both directions. I removed the belt, spun the pulley in one direction and the brake disengaged and the tub spun freely. Tried to spin the pulley in the other direction, and it won’t budge. I can’t get the agitator to spin.
Is this definitely the transmission? Is it serviceable if so?
