my washer almost makes it through a cycle and then at the last minute will set a code 21(draining problem). My hose is not kinked or not to high or stopped up. any help would be appreciative.

Volsunc,
A few things you want to check,
Remove the lower access panel and check,
Remove the drain pump filter cover and check for obstructions, and debris inside, check to see if there are any damaged paddles on the drain pump impeller.
Remove the tub to pump hose,(from both ends) and check for a small article, stuck in the hose or at the opening in the tub, in the hose, etc.
If all those checks are OK,
Remove the top of the washer, on the right hand side of the cabinet, you’ll find the water level switch,
Disconnect the hose from the switch check to see there are no twists or kinks, and blow into the hose, hard.
Any debris, etc., would keep the water level switch from re setting to the empty position and could also cause the 21(long drain) fail code.
Repalcing the water level switch, would be the next step to do if the problem persists.
Good Luck,
That should clear any debris
