Starting yesterday, the washer began to fill with water as usual (same force) but the water shut off well before the fill was complete. The same thing happened with both the hot and cold water. Any thoughts on the cause and is the washer worth fixing? I have not had any other problems with it. Thanks
The likely culprit here is your water level switch. I think your machine as a variable level of control, and the switch may be stuck at a low level.
Try moving the switch up and down a couple of times to see if that will loosen it up, then start the machine several times with no clothes and see if you get different water levels with different settings.
If not and you are happy with the machine (these are pretty good ones) you could risk the small amount of money changing out the water level switch.
