My maytag quit working. I want to fix it because this washer has ran like a champ. A repair man once changed the lid switch on my mothers washer and it cost her 109 dollars. If she had called me it would have cost 9, and ten minutes of work. So i would rather not call one lol. Ok so, the washer at first would leave the clothes too wet. After inspecting the glides, springs, and belts I decided the belts were worn and shinny. Thought they looked fine, i replaced the glides and springs on the motor because they were cheap. Greased up the glides, put the new belts on, and ran a test load. It spun like a champ with no load. Full speed, agitates fine, drained great. With a load however the washer now quits working when it trys to get to full speed spin. It will try, start to spin then stop completely, leaving water in it. I have checked the lid switch for continuity and it reads fine. I have checked for socks and obstructions between the drums, there are none. What is my next step? thank you
