No heat in dryer.
Did continuity test on heating element, thermal fuse and high limit thermostat. All tested OK.
Any ideas?
As a service tech I need to ask first, do you have true 240v coming in to the unit? It may sound silly but weirder things have happened. If yes then-
Did you check both thermostats (hi-limit thermostat lower side) and (thermal cut-off upper side) on the heater casing for continuity?
Did you check the cycling thermostat (the two large connections) on the vent casing for continuity?
The thermal fuse if bad won’t allow the unit to start, so that’s likely not it.
If they all check out and you see no loose wiring you may have a bad timer or a bad centrifugal switch on the drive motor.
