I just received a door handle for my microwave oven. Part Number 8169737 and I was wondering beside the 3 screws on the bottom of the door, how do I get the inside part of the door off to access the screws for the door handle. I would appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.

Here are the instructions on dismantling the microwave door.
You’ll be able to do the repair following these procedures from the service manual

[LEFT][SIZE=5][FONT=Arial-BoldMT][SIZE=5]REMOVING THE OVEN DOOR AND COMPONENTS[/SIZE][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Arial-BoldMT][SIZE=5]
[/SIZE][/FONT]1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Open the microwave oven door.
3. Pry the choke cover away from the top
door pin, and remove the top pin from the
pivot bracket. Lift the door off the bottom
bracket, and remove it.
6. Starting at the top right corner , pry
the choke cover out with a putty knife,
and unsnap it from the choke. Only remove
the top, bottom and right sides of
the choke cover at this time. You will remove
the handle end of the choke cover
later.
4. Place the oven door front side down on a
padded surface.
5. Remove the choke screws from the door[/LEFT]
frame
[LEFT][FONT=ArialMT]6. Starting at the top right corner (see the
round inset photo in the left column), pry
the choke cover out with a putty knife,
and unsnap it from the choke. Only remove
the top, bottom and right sides of
the choke cover at this time. You will remove[/LEFT]
the handle end of the choke cover later
[LEFT]7. Starting at the top edge of the door near
the center and working clockwise, use a
putty knife, and pry the latching tabs of
the choke out of the door frame slots. Lift
the choke as you release the tabs so they
do not snap back into the slots. NOTE:
When you reach the handle side of door,
pull both the choke and the choke cover
away from the door frame, and then separate[/LEFT]
the two components.
[LEFT][FONT=ArialMT]8. To remove the door switch actuators from
the choke, remove the screw from each[/LEFT]
actuator.
[FONT=ArialMT][FONT=Arial-BoldMT]REASSEMBLY NOTE:
[/FONT][LEFT]When you reinstall
[LEFT]the door on the oven, insert the top pin into
the pivot bracket and press down on the pin[/LEFT]
until it snaps into place

We have a ge profile microwave, yesterday we used the potato button for the first time and now it will not heat anything. other wise it works just fine. the model # is je2160wf02:confused:

The "choke" or choke cover,
Basically, is the metal (inner) door panel.
Some, not all, units have a "plastic" insert in the corners, to cover the hinge(s), to eliminate a possible "arcing" situation.
The metal inner door panel(choke)is needed to keep the microwaves in the cavity, instead of passing through the glass or plastic door panel.

You most likely have an "open" cavity thermostat,
AP3204696
The thermostat is designed to "open" when the temperature in the cavity exceeds a pre set temperature,and shuts off power to the cooking circuit.
Basically a "safety" device.
It is located on the top of the microwave cavity, under the outer cabinet.
Baked potatoes, seem to be the most common reason these devices open and cause a no cook symptom .
