All of a sudden last night i went to use my microwave and it was humming very loudly and emitting an awful burnt plastic/electrical smell. Stopped it, restarted it, same thing. My husband had used it a few hours prior and it was fine then. I already paid to have it fixed a few years back when the fuse blew and it cost me nearly a hundred bucks for that, mostly for labor. I am guessing from what I have read this is probably a diode or maybe the magnetron? Can you give my your best guess as to how much this might cost to fix or if I would be better off getting a new one. I really like this one…when the fuse blew i got a new one but took it back and got this one repaired because it just didn’t compare 
It is nearly 10 years old, though(made 6/00, bought 3/01) and the "Windmill plus Super Even Wave" fan stopped spinning a while ago too.
