My built in microwave oven runs, but nothing heats. Lights, fan, turntable, panel, all work. I tested the fuse, hv diode, hv capacitor, transformer, and the magnatron. The capacitor had no voltage in it to discharge, plus when I tested it it showed as bad. I put in a new diode and capacitor and ran it for 30 secs with a cup of water. Made a funny sound at first then a cracking sound, then just hummed. Water was still cold, I checked capacitor and it didn’t have any voltage to discharge and now the new capacitor shows up as bad. Is something frying my capacitors? What could be causing the problem in my microwave? Is there something else I need to test that hasn’t already been tested? Thanks for any and all help I can get! It’s very appreciated!!!
