This GE Profile microwave (over the range) spacemaker 2.0 came with a new house in late 2007. Within the past several months it loses all power during the heating cycle. If I use paperplates, it stops. It only likes unwrapped, ceramic plates or mugs. When it looses power, I need to unplug the power cord, and replug it to release the operation. Then start all over again. I have had 2 GE authorized service calls but of course the oven works perfectly during these service calls. The repairmen say they can diagnose the problem only if it presents while they are on site. I think they believe I am nuts but this microwave is driving me crazy. It is only used to heat never to cook. Any thoughts on the problem or what’s going on that needs repaired/replaced is appreciated.
