Mr B.

My Whirlpool Cabrio washer stops and shows "OL" on the digital readout. It does not complete the cycle and stops after about 15 minutes when estimated time is 48 etc.:frowning:

First off Cabrio’s were horribly made machines and do not invest too much money into this unit because when you fix one problem another problem usually pops up soon afterwards.

The OL error code indicates that the washer is overloaded. If the washer is not overloaded, this would indicate either a drag on the drive system or the control board is failing. Be sure nothing is on the floor under the washer that could be causing a problem. Raise the lid & manually spin the basket, it should spin freely. If not, you may have an item stuck between the spin basket and the washer tub.

I recommend scheduling for a technician to come out to diagnose and repair your washer.
