My Maytag Neptune will start but truns off after about 30 seconds. repeted on button being pushed will fill and empty water but wont spin. Checked the wax switch and R11. R11 is not burnt but could not observe the wax switch movement.
There are many things that could cause this, and they are expensive like the main board and the motor/motor control kit which Maytag has redesigned.
If you have gotten 10 years plus good service out of this machine you have done very well. I think your better option is to replace it rather than try to put a lot of money into it.
