I have read the forums and know that no heat in my gas dryer means that either the thermal fuse has blown or the ignitor is bad. Since I don’t have an ohm meter, I thought I would just replace both. However, some people have said that if you replace the fuse, you should also replace the thermostat. I don’t mind doing this as it’s a big pain to pull my dryer out to get to the back, so I only want to do it once. However, which thermostat is it? There are two listed on the parts page - one that is by the fuse, called the dryer cycling thermostat (part no. AP3115922) and one near the blower wheel - Part number AP3134945.
