My dryer will not heat up so I replace the heating element thinking that this will fix my problem but it did not. My next step that I was going to take is to replace the dryer thermal cut - off kit part # AP3094244. But I was thinking that I need a little help before I buy a lot of things that is not going to fix my problem.
I checked the power at the plug, OK I had 240Volts.
I checked the fuse, I checked it with a ohms meter.
I checked the switches behind the start button with a ohms meter.
I checked the turn off switch at the bottom, It ohms out.
I checked the turn off switch at the top, after I start the dryer I get 240volts. I don’t think that this switch is not working like it suppose to.

Do you mean the thermal fuse or the thermal cut-off?
