The ice maker on my frigidare side-by-side is not making ice. I am still getting water at the water dispenser and if I pour water into the tray manually it will eject icecubes in the normal time. I think the water valve may be bad, although it is still suppling water to the water dispenser. is there a reset switch?
Swap the wires between the ice maker and the water dispenser solenoids at the water inlet valve. Push the water dispenser lever for a few seconds and check for water in the ice maker.
If there is no water, replace the water valve.
If there is water, replace the ice maker.

Thanks Gene, but I already bought the water valve - so I will put it in. But I will try swapping the wires first.
You are welcome. Keep us posted.

Re: frigidare FRS23LH5DS0 side-by-side.
I replaced the water valve and the Icemaker - Still no ice? I have water to the back of the icemaker, but it is not filling the tray when I rotate the paddles to 7:00 o clock postion. What now?
Have you checked the water tube into the ice maker for any blockage and/or ice inside?
Gene.
Yes, I checked the water tube up to the point where it enters the back of the refrigerator behind the freezer, and I defrosted the freezer to allow any ice inside time to melt (about and hour). Do you think it needs more time to thaw?
I would disconnect the ice maker tube (1/4") from the water valve and blow some air through the tube.
Gene.
Thanks gene. Already started. Also, I hit the fill tube with a hair dryer and a chunk of ice slid out. I am re-connecting the IM.
Finally, there is water in the ice tray. . . . we’ll see.
Ice maker is back on line. Thanks again Gene.
You are welcome. I’m glad it’s up and running.
