I have read a ton of advice so far. I want to get straight to the solution without trial and error. Four most common solutions: 1) motor coupler to be replaced (these suggestions did not always seem like drainage problems) 2) lid switch to be replaced (again drainage problem?) 3) clogged drain or jammed (help suggest a way to get started, siphon?) 4) rewiring under the hood (this suggestion so different and troublesome than the others, i want to be absolutely sure). OK, so the tub is still full of water and clothes. A heavy machine. I do not want to have to try everything if it is clear to someone what the exact problem is when a Kenmore 70 won’t drain nor spin. Thank you.
