No water entering the washer

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II washer. Suddenly, the water supply has stopped to the washer. The water supply seems to be fine. The float valve is free from obstruction. It appears to be the Solenoid valve where the water line comes into the washer. I would very much appreciate some guidance before I order the part with you guys. Thank you.

Could be a number of things.

First check across the water valve/overfill switch combo to see if it is getting 120 volts when the unit should be filling.
They are wired in series so
A wire—water valve—B wire—overfill switch—C wire.
So you want to measure A wire to C wire.

If no power then your problem is elsewhere.
If you have power then measure across the overfill switch. If there is 120 volts across it then it is either not being actuated or is toast.

If the overfill is 0 volts then measure the valve,.
If it is getting 120 volts across it then either it is toast or the filter screen built into it’s input side is clogged with gunk.

Remove the valve from the unit and clean/check the screen.
If it is clean the valve is toast and needs replacing.

If clogged clean it. Do not permanently remove it from the valve as it is there to keep crud out of the valve, which could hold the valve popen and cause a flood.
