Detergent dispenser popping open too early. Bought replacement part 490467 (Canada). Both supplier & Bosch confirmed the # of the part but the new part has connections for 2 sets of cables, 1 for the wax motor and 1 behind the rinse aid dispenser. Old part only has cable/plug for the wax motor.
Tried using new part without rinse aid cables (since there are none), but the machine won’t run. Not calling for water and the cycle knob not turning. Doesn’t help if you try gradually turning the knob manually - it still doesn’t call for water.
Replaced the old dispenser in the machine and it works fine again, but still have the same old problem. Is there another replacement dispenser with just a connection for the wax motor and what is the part #? If not, can I get a cable for the new part and if so, how do I connect it?
Have spent too much on repairs for this machine , so would like to keep it running for a while yet. Thanks for any insight.
